Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well today..... ok what is your mother's day wish for yourself, your mother, or someone special in yourlife.....I have to do this today since I might not be able to get back and do it tomorrow... I wish my mother would consider WLS so her health would improve....I wish you all have a wonderful day and all your dreams come true, I wish Brenda would get her approval..... Christine, Hello hun and TGIF.... I am sooo looking forward to this weekend, we are taking off for Long Island on Sat afternoon after hubby gets off from work to see Mom. Maybe doing something in the morning Sunday and then heading back upstate in the early evening..... HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO YOU HUN..... You are the best!!!! Still trying to kick the Diet Coke... Have to cut back slowly because I get those headaches but glad I am starting it now and not having to deal with the pain after surgery. I am sure I will have other aches and pains to deal with.... Hi hun and ~huggers~ right back at cha..... you know trying to stop drinking soda you go through withdrawals....so to stop cold turkey you need to sleep it off and that is the same with smoking and anything else including food addiction, that's what I did I slept...... I was a Diet Coke ADDICT! I stopped a long time ago, not for surgery but because it was not good to drink so much diet coke. Try drinking Crystal Light instead of a soda, and increase it everyday. Thats what I did to the point I allowed myself a soda a day, then NONE! Just a suggestion! Good Luck!

Hello Sweetie, Yes I have been only allowing myself 12 oz a day and the rest has been s/f crystal light or water.... So hard but it will be ok, I guess I will totaly cut it out 2 weeks before surgery.....unless I can before.... Well thanks for the tip hun...~Hugs~ Take care Debra P

Christine, Good Morning!!!mmmmmm my mothers day wish, well right now I am so hoping that my ulcer heals so that I can have surgery. My re-scope is on May 19, and my surgery date is May 23....ok so, I wish for my ulcer to heal. I'll have a selfish wish. Have a great day. love, Janean

Good Morning Sweetie, Glad to hear that you are in great spirits this morning. I know its been a while since you've heard from me but I've been keeping busy with this new life God has granted me along with WLS. I wish I can see my mom for mothers day but as you already know my mom is back home in st. croix. I wish you a happy mothers day and that you enjoy all of it, cause you deserve it. Good Morning Christine, My mothers day wish would go out to my mother wishing she would quit smoking. She has smoked since I was about 4 yrs old so about 30yrs now. I am so afraid that one day she will tell me she has cancer. Anyway, one week out today and I have lost 25lbs wooohooo!!! Take care Christine and everyone. Heather 340/315/151
