i have a friend who is considering having surgery , but has medicaid, does anyone know who takes it. in the new york area. ms thing

Hi, Don't know if your friend has straight medicaid or one of their assigned insurances....but here goes. When I was looking into the surg. I pulled up a list of docs listed in the American Bariatric Association. If the doc isn't listed there I wouldn't go to them. Then I cross ref. those in my area against the surg. listed on my insurances website. Good luck Deb
