Help??????

Hello everyone.My question is.Acne?I have a lot of out breaks.Has anyone else had this problem??I never had this problem before surgery.or even as a teen. Marty

Marty, Although I am pre-op, I have heard of this...some people say that around the 4th-7th month they break out and lose their hair. I am pretty sure it's due to your hormones going nuts, and your chemicals balancing out. Some women get their periods back.....the body goes through lots of changes. I have suffered with adult acne, and I know how yucky it can be. My dermatologist recommends, dial antibacterial soap...only use that, nothing else on your face to wash. Also no moisturizer, or sunscreen, until it clears up and then just a very light one....also, I use a makeup at Kohls called healthy skin and it has salcylic acid in it...that usually helps. oh yea, and the dial is white, not the deoderant one....it is only antibacterial.

I am 5 weeks post op and I am doing ok with my skin, BUT I have dealt with Adult Acne for 6 years now, and ProActive is the answer! IT WORKS! and make sure you moisturize!
