Psych Eval tomorrow....(Nervous)

Hey all! I have my psych eval tomorrow? Can anyone tell me what goes on... I am nervous!

Tammy, My Psych eval was a breeze and they normally are by reading everyone else's postings about it. Dont be nervous and just go with the flow!

Lisa, Hello hun..~hug~ I had to just go in and chat with the guy, he just wanted to know that I knew about the surgery.....Benifits, possible problems and side effects. Other then that we just talked about the support I will need and get after the surgery, and about the new life. That is about it for me, around 1 hr. I have heard that others were asked to fill out a survey or questionnaire but I guess that just depends on the eval. Best of luck hun and keep us posted.... Debra P

Hi Lisa i had to fill out the questionaire and then talk to the dr about the answer's but it all went well....you will breeze through it.... Best of luck to you... Christine

I have mine this Sat and then the following Sat too! She makes you do 2 appts a week apart. I heard from a friend who also went to her that she makes you write down everything you eat that week so you can bring it back to her on your 2nd appt. I'm nervous too Lisa. Good luck to you. Dee

Hello Lisa I just got home, first off take a deep breathe. Relax. Its easy, just be yourself and honest. I did not have to fill out anything, she asked about what I have tried, what kind of prescribations meds I take and why, what do I know about the WLS, the plus's and the minus's. *Important remember its a tool not a cure* What do i except from the WLS, and if I every pictured my self in a year after. that is it. oh yeah the co pay.....lol.
