Surgery Postponed
Hello all, boy, am I really bummed today
Went for all my pre surgical testing last Friday and went great. Mentioned to Dr. that I have allergies but not sure if I have a sinus infection-he said to go to my PCP--went today and he put me on antibiotics for 14 days Called surgeon and they had to postpone, I was due for surgery this coming Mon. I will have to call them on the 17th of May when the antibiotics are done to re-schedule 
As all of us know the mental preparation this takes.....I was soooo ready to do this Monday.....I am trying to look at this positively, I still have loose ends to take care off so this will give me more time to do that plus be as healthy as I can to come thru the surgery ok. Hun I am sp sorry about the delay....~hugs~ I know that you get yourself into a place to repair for the surgery and when it gets knocked out from under you it is very upsetting.... I am still pre-op and I have 5 weeks to go and already I am trying to mentaly prepair myself..
You know, you have a great attitude with it hun, things do happen for a reason even though at the time you really so not give a sh@# about it at that time... It just stinks that you can not get a new date based on when you will be done with the meds, why can't they give you a new date NOW so you don't lose that time, yeah know...~growls~
Well hang in there hun.....and take care of yourself so you get better soon.....

I totally understand where your comeing from, how your feeling. FOr a different reason i have to change my surgery date and i still dont have a firm new date just yet......its hard.....my date was may 25th but its just not good for family to help with my kids!
GO figure.
Hang in there we will get to the other side. In the mean while i am workign hard at loosing weight just less i will have to do afterwards is my reasoning!
