3 QUESTIONS
HI
I HAVE 3 QUESTIONS
WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN SOMEONE POSTS A QUESTION AND THEY HAVE 3 OR SO WEIGHTS WITH / BETWEEN THEM? EX 300/250/150 ? SOMETIMES IT IS A PERSON WHO JUST HAD SURGERY.
DOES ANYONE COUNT CALORIES? I FIND I AM TRYING TO KEEP PROTEIN AS MY MAIN FOOD. KEEP IT BASICALLY NO FAT, LOW AS POSSIBLE SUGAR AND VERY FEW CARBS( I HAVE 1/2 CUP OF GREEN BEANS A DAY) IT ADDS UP TO ABOUT 600 CALORIES A DAY. THE THING IS.. I AM AT 11 MONTHS AND AM NOT LOSING ANY MORE. I STARTED AT 285 AND AM AT 165 I HAVE NOT LOST IN 7 WEEKS I AM REALLY GETTING DISCOURAGED.
MOST I READ ABOUT HAVE LOST ALOT MORE THAN THAT IN THIS SAME TIME. I FEEL AS IF I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG.
HOW MANY GRAMS OF PROTEIN ARE MOST OF YOU STRIVING FOR?

Hi Lizz, Your weight loss is great, don't get discouraged. I would think you should be having more calories than 600 though. I believe at 1 year out we need about 1000-1200 calories per day. If you don't get enough calories, your body goes into starvation mode and hangs on to every pound you have. So up the calories, and you may be pleased. Also I am sure your MD office has a diet plan for you to follow. Give him a call.
The numbers you are seeing are
1). Starting weight
2). Current weight
3). Goal weight
Sometimes I see 4 numbers listed Starting/current/this number I have no clue about/goal
I am not sure what is meant by four numbers in the list.

Hi Lizz,
The first number means your very first weight (mine was 311) the second # means either your current weight (mine is 192) or some people add their weight right before surgery (mine was 271) and then the last # is either their weight now if they hit their goal or the weight they need to hit to reach their goal (mine is 167).
I don't really "count" calories, I always watch my carb, fat, sugar and protien intake. Again I don't count my "protien" I just choose foods that work the best for me.
Do you think maybe you have hit a plateau? Maybe your body is readjusting to your loss so far? Are you exercising? Drinking your water?
