Pouchie pains!

Good Morning everyone.... It's not such a good one for me. I woke up at 230 this AM with massive pouchie pains. I'm not sure what's causing it so I drank some Pepto Bismol and tried to go back to sleep only to wake up at 6AM with more pain. It feels as if someones fist is squeezing and twisting my tummy. I would try ti if I thought that it would make me feel better. I don't even want to get out of !! The good news is that I can make #2 without any aid from suppositories for the past 3 or so days! Has anyone had pains like this? If so what helped. Please help Jalonda 371/259/160?

So sorry to hear about your pains. Call the doctor and see what he/she says, and if it gets worse I would go to the ER. Hope you feel better soon! Karen

Hi Jalonda I went through pouch pain on last Sunday. I called my doctor and he asked me to come in. I went to see him and he sent me over to the ER with a note to have me admitted so they could run test. They did a CT Scan of my abdomin and thank God it came back normal. It turned out that I have a minor ulcer. Call your doctor. Glenda

Jalonda, I seem to have so much trouble going to the bathroom also. I take a daily dose of Milk of Magnesia. If I don't take it I can't go. Nothing else works for me. Make sure you talk to your Dr. He can give you the best advice. I hope you feel better..... Lorraine
