I'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!

Hello everyone, I just got off the phone with my insurance company and they said that I have been APPROVED as of yesturday!!!! I cant believe it! I am finally on my way! My surgeon is out of the office this week, but I have an appt with him on Monday, hopefully I will get a date then. I am having lap done and he has not got the o.k. yet from Albany to start in Saranac. We was supposed to talk to them on Wed. Wish me luck that I get a date on Monday. He is supposed to start in June! I have so many emotions going through me right now, OMG!!!!! Kathy

Darlene, I am soo excited. I have Blue Cross Blue Sheild Federal PPO program. About 3 weeks ago my surgeon sent in my letter of necessity, the insurance company requested a letter of recommendation from my PCP a week after they received my letter. It took my PCP a week to get it in. I had to keep on them! Once they faxed it in, it only took 4 business days. They faxed in late Thursday afternoon and I was approved on Wednesday!!! Not bad. I was very happy. I am not a patient person, so I called BCBS once a week. They were really good about it. Where are you at in your journey? Thank you Kathy
