Finally sent in my papers. Waiting- how long?

Ok I finally wrote my letter on why i want GBS. That was easy i had to stop myself from writing a book. Anyways i have it and the forms all filled out. My question is how long will it take for them(doc) to call me? how long for you guys/gals? I am excited to take another step closer but at the same time i know it will be awhile because my Dr, is real busy 3-6 month wait i hear. My doc is Dr Posner btw. Thanks gang.-Jason

Jason~~ Glad that you got that letter written and all the forms are filled out!! Every dr is different, why don't you call the office in a few days and ask them. This way you will have the right info...who knows maybe it will be shorter than 3--6 months. Some dr have a cancellation list and you can ask them to put you on. The waiting is the hardest part of this journey to WLS! Good Luck and please keep us posted!

Jason, I know taking these steps are exciting, when you are getting closer each time..... I would give you the same advice as Alice, call the Dr's office, things are even different with different patients and the same Dr so that is best to call and find out.
