so it has been so long since i've been around here i thought i would drop a quick note! i'm glad to hear everyone is doing so well and following their routines. i had a very long and complicated road to recovery but am finally healthy again. i am down 70lbs since surgery but am stuck!!! i want to lose maybe another 40 or so pounds... ugh... i have been working out harder at the gym to get that metabolism going again. but honestly??? if i didn't lose another pound i could truly say that this was all worth it. to run, jump, and play with my 2 1/2 year old son in this amazing weather is the most precious gift this surgery has given me. and oh yeah, nice legs again!!! take care! MUAH! shea

Christine Hello! It is late, but I am here. I have finished one month of my supervised program and lost 5 pounds. 1 month down, 2 to go. YAYYYYYYY I can hardly wait to HAVE to go buy new clothes in smaller sizes. You are doing so wonderfully. Keep up the good work!!!! Since the day was so nice , my hubby and I went and got our fishing licenses so we can go fishing. I also got a new fishing rod and reel. We also bought some things we need to finish off our new closet in our spare bedroom. We work on that room when the weather is bad. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Brenda

Hi Christine We usually fish in our local river. Sometimes we go to one of the Finger Lakes, usually Seneca Lake, to fish. We just go fishing on the spur of the moment, which is a luxury of being retired. Personally, I would rather be working, but my neck & back problems make it impossible. The weather was beautiful today, but now it is raining. Thank you, but I am leery that Aetna will deny me if I keep losing weight on this supervised program. I really need to have this surgery soon as I am fast approaching the cut off age for the surgery. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Brenda
