Almost There.....

Hello All, I had my final consult with the surgeon and feel so excited and happy to be able to get this done... All went well and he said the very latest I should hear from GHI would be 1 month but most likey hear back by the end of this month. They are also booking my OR time on Monday or Tues, so I should have a date soon.... All is done with the exception of the Pre Admin testing and then the surgery.... Wow this might really be happening soon... I just want to go out and yell I am so happy.... Well hubby and I will be taking a ride on the motorcyle while we have the day off. I need to go to my PCP because they seem to have a problem understanding what I needed in the letter for my 6 month weight loss program....~rolls her eyes~ All they did was send a letter over that had what I have done in the past to try and lose weight NOT the 6 month info....I was sure I was clear on what I needed but you know how the offices are.... I will left you all know when I get my date...... Take care Debra P

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO sounds like you are almost there where we can taste it but not reach it..... Sorry you have to go over to the pcp and they haven't gotten it staright yet what was needed, what did they think you wanted to go for six months just to visit......I don't know sometimes.....how do some of them get that doctors degree...... Well lets brush that off and get to the next step.....soon to have a date....congratulations Deb can you just taste is all the clear liquids and full liquids and than pureeds yummy yummy don't cha think....I know you will get through all the your little steps and big steps of the changes you will be going through.... So Motorcycle Mama go and and enjoy the beautiful wheather we are having I just finished my 2 mile walk (durning lunch) and I am so hot now.... can't wait to hear the news so get ready to scream it out.... Yeah the PCP is the one that is holding it up, never thought it would be him.....O well it should be taken care of my tomorrow morning.....~crossing fingers~ You know I will call them in the morning to make sure right?..... Dreba, So happy for you... as for Christine'c comment.. You can smell it, but cant reach it... or something like that... lol..... best of luck to you with the insurance co... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!!! My info was mailed out to GHI yesterday... so it's a waiting game now... I logged on to GHI's website, and in my profile, I checked where they will email you when there is new activity or if they have a claim pending.. so I'm going to be obsessed with checking my email 10 times a day...
