Hi Dina, It's not unusual to still feel exhausted after 9 days. Remember, you had major surgery. Everyone recovers at a different rate. Just rest when you feel tired, and every day you will get a little stronger. When I came home from the hospital, my doctor told me to keep sipping fluids all day, except within 30 minutes of a meal or snack. I think that thirst is a sign that your body needs more fluids. Maybe you should call your dr's office and see what they say. Good luck to you, and keep us posted on your recovery! Gail

Thank you guys! I am sipping ice chips and crystal light lemonade ice chips. The no sugar pops help too. Thank you for all of your help. I can't wait to be able to drink a nice glass of cold water!!!!!!!!! Dina

remeber that sugarfree popsickels(sp?) count as liquids and they help with the thirst
