I'm so MAD!....

I need to vent... I just got a call from my surgeon's right hand lady, the one who handles all the insurance stuff.... I was told on Friday that she was mailing all the paperwork to my insurance co that afternoon... she looked in my file, told me that all paperwork was there and that she would personally mail it out on Friday.... I just got a call from her... now mind you, it's Tuesday, 4:30 and she told me that she mislocated the letter from my dr that had all the weights and dates from my supervised diet..... and that she needed the # of the dr so she can call and have them fax her another copy.... now I know that the secretary at my dr's office who deals with all paperwork leaves at 4.... so that means she wont get intouch with the office until tomorrow, and it'll take them at least 1 day to find my file and refax the letter!!! So i told her that I am faxing the letter right now... thank God I have a copy.... and she told me fine, but it wont go out till tomorrow because the mail was picked up for the day, which means it wont get to the ins co until Friday the earliest... I am so pissed off!!! Here I am thinking that the paperwork was already at the Ins co, and it hasnt even left the office yet!! To top it off... She promised me it would go out last Friday!!! Now I know she is a nice person and all, and I know I'm not the only one in the office waiting to get this done, but I feel like this only happens to me.....Why Me??

That stinks Gia... I had the hardest time getting my PCP to get my records to the surgeon, so I know what a pain it would be to have to get that all done again!!! All because of somebody misplacing your info! NOT COOL!!! But, the only thing that would ease my mind would be knowing that everything happens for a reason - and this slight delay is just a part of the big picture. Don't worry!!!!

Gia I know how upsetting that is and you would like to ripe her eyes out but try and be positive she did call you today and not Friday to come... with some prayers I'm sending you and some {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} I'm sure this Friday that the insurance company will receive your paperwork instead of next Friday has to make you feel better....oh I know it doesn't help sweetie but hang in there... call her back on Friday and find out when she mailed it out or even better call her back tomorrow and ask her if she mailed it.... You come and vent here any time you want, we are here for you...take a few deep breaths and compose your self and do something special for you.. Christine

Gia, Hun I know that sucks and I will have to look forward to that **** within the next couple of days myself..... I just a call from the Dr's office and of course it was at home when I came home from work so I can not call until morning. I am just hoping nothing is wrong or they need to change my appt....~growls~ Just try and take a deep breath and relax some, you are always able to vent here and please do so, I know I do.. we will have to keep each other posted on all this ****~tight hugs~ Take care hun, Debra P

hey gia, I had to check to see if you had my surgeons office because there are good for that too. i call them every day to make sure that they send my information and i also had a copy of everything because i heard they tend to lose things.. so don't worry girl make sure you are on top of things when insurance get it because they will take there time also.. good luck, tracey,
