Got New Insurance

Well after all I've been through last week with the denying me the day before my surgery and my old insurance was terminated today...I am now with Affinity (Medicaid) My letter states I can start using my plan in May 1st, now I really hope they don't require more than 6 months of supervised dietor I might just have to start this entire process over do anyone know anything about Affinity service or how long do it takes before I can get approve or apply for the surgery with medicaid.... Melvina, Hun I am glad you are all set with your new Ins.... One less thing to worry about at this time..... May 1st will be here very soon. I wish you luck that you so not need that stupid 6 month weight loss program...~crossing my fingers for you~...If you call them you might be able to find out if you ask them directly about that. Hi Mel glad things are starting to look briter for you.... So you have to wait til May that's not bad....and have you asked your surgeon if he/she takes that coverage....that is important too....you might not have to start over again can you call Affinity and ask what is their requirements for surgery.... Hey Chris, I haven't picked a new Surgeon yet, I had Dr Roslin and Kurian but they don't take Medicaid, So I am thinking about going back to Dr Michael Leitman he was the original Dr I picked first, but I had to do so much to see him, but I will call Affinity to see what is the status on WSL
