Good Morning All

Hey Debra..... I went to my surgeon of Friday, hoped to get a date, but they told me that GHI was the worst, and of course I have the worst, and I was told that they require all the paperwork to be mailed to them and that they dont accept faxed paperwork, and it could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months for any feedback from them...therefor, I couldnt schedule my surgery.... did you hear anything like that? I see you have GHI too, and I was wondering if your surgeon mentioned that..... I was so upset when I was told that, actually still am, but I guess there is nothing I can do but wait..... but I wanted to wish you luck.... so.... GOOD LUCK!!!!

Gia, I know I did hear that GHI is the worst to get approval for and maybe that is right (mailing it all in), I am hoping for the best and God will take it from there....... I have no control over that and I do not want to get upset about it but damn that could push the surgery back into the mid summer.....~shrugs her shoulders~ I have waited so long as it is....... At work they are trying to change Ins Comp so I am hoping I can get something soon, I really do not want to have to change Dr's......Dr Garber does not accept any Ins so your plan has to be able to go out of network for me to use him......~crossing fingers~ I am sorry you are upset hun and I can understand why.....~hugs you~ Just hang in there and we will both pray for each others speedy approvals...... Debra, I'm sorry if I upset you... I didnt mean to be negative.....I was hoping to have the surgery done while I was on unemployment, so I wouldnt have to start a job and have to go on disability... but I have no choice now.. I almost lost it in the surgeons office... I hate GHI, always have... they are the worst.... and I'm going to try not to call them to check status, but I know I'm going to be weak and call them on Mon...lol... Gia, Hun please don't think you upset me....~hug~ You are just telling me the truth and I thank you for that..... It really does suck but we have no control over it and I really don't want to get upset (even though it is on the inside), trying to stay positive ya know?...... I will be calling them too I am sure.... They will get sick of me until they approve me..... We can wait together, when did your stuff go in? Was it Friday after seeing the surgeon? I guess you have to allow this week for them to receive it right?......So I should be calling them on Monday April 25th...... See it is starting already...... Take care hun and thanks, Debra P

Debra, As far as calling them.... I used my husband as an excuse today...lol... my surgeon mailed the paperwork to GHI on Friday, and we had a problem with a bill from a procedure that my husband had done last year... so I told my husband I would call the ins co today so he didnt have to deal with the stupidity... he was shocked... he knows I hate dealing with them, so I called them to take care of the problem and kinda slipped in the question about my request... she gave me a number to call to check the status... even told me what #'s to hit so I dont have to go through a whole automated thing... she's going to be sorry she ever gave me the direct #.... starting Friday, I know I'm going to call every day... I wont be able not to.... so I dont know... I may be worse than you..... Good Luck on your end... maybe we will be approved at the same time.... I am so keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!! Gia
