Hey all, I am thinking way in advance here, but lastnight on discovery health channel they had a thing on tummy tucks and plastic surgery. All I saw were huge incisions happening. These incisions scared the hell out of me. I am gunning for a laproscopic surgery to minimize scarrring and risks. My question: Do these tummy tucks leave huge scars??? Thanks- Enzo

Enzo: I had a tummy tuck 4 years ago, the scar is not bad at all, you can hardly see it. It is so worth it, I may have to have another after my surgery in May. Jane

Man lemme tell ya, it was scary watching that Discovery health cahnnel last night. The inscision was tremendous, but I was very upset that they did not show the scar. I am glad to hear that your scar was small. Was your inscision huge?? and it just left a small scar?? or did you have a small inscision?

Enzo: The incision was hip to hip, but you wouldn't know it today and the recovery was really quite easy, I felt so wonderful afterwards. I am hoping that is how I will feel after this surgery.

I am so happy to hear that because all the before and after photos on the plastic surgeons sites are scary. the patients before and after photos make the scar look "frankensteinish" if thats a word. I am 27 years old, I am considering the bariatric surgery for health reasons primarily but I want to look good too, I don't want to end up with this huge scar where I still cant go to the beach and take my top off. thank you for the encouragement.
