Hi I am sorry it has taken me so long to post. Surgery went well. It took a long time (a little over 4 hours) Dr. Boss had a lot of work to do. Besides doing the gastric bypass, he fixed several ventral hernias, took out all the infected mesh and adhesions (the mesh and adhesions took a very long time) He Said everything went well. He didn't send me home until Monday afternoon because of how long he had me open and my history of bowel problems, he and his team wanted to make sure I had a bowel movement or passed gas before they let me go. Which Happened Monday morning. Dr. Boss and his Team are So Great So, far everything is going well. I Want to Thank you all for your messages. Burt- Glad to hear surgery went well. I agree Dr. Boss is fantastic!!! Get plenty of rest, don't pu**** too hard, you will get better with time. Drink your fluids, its amazing how much it helps! Janet
