Hello All,
I have a question or something that I would like to bring up to see if it makes sense...
When I was on Weigh****chers and LA Weight Loss, the more you weighed and more you were given, meaning points or serving size. So after the surgery does it make sense that the heavier you are the more protein your body will need to work efficiently? I know when I was on the other plans that if I did eat all my food I did lose faster so do you think this works the same way?
Just was thinking and wanted some input on this thought.....Hope all is doing Well today....

Hi Debra!
Thanks for the replys to my question so here goes for yours! Not that I am a doc or anything, but my fiance' was very concerned before surgery about the amount of food I would be eating and if I would keep losing and losing (yeah right!) Anyway... what my nutritionalist told me was that because my weight was so high 311 and I would be eating so little that the weight would come off quickly, but gradually as your weight goes down and the amount you eat pretty much stays the same your body will start to lose slower. You will balance out. Make sense? I always use my hands to show people when they ask about me starving all the time I put one hand up high and say this is my weight put the other hand down and say this is how much food I eat, as I lose my weight goes down and will balance out with the food I eat. I think with WW and those types of diets you really lose alot slower, so it will stay off. I work with people who do WW and it works for them, but they lose 2-3 pds a month. Hope I could help!

Karry,
Thanks for your post to my question.....~hug~ Yes it makes perfect sense and I know I will be losing at first but what about when that balances out and becomes harder, could that be the time to see just how much you are eating compared to your weight......who knows but it is just something that I was thinking about, being trained so many times on all kinds of diets..... Now I have to learn a whole new way of life......and I am so looking forward to it, even though I know the road will be a hard one but so worth it!!!!
Thanks again for posting hun, have a great day!
