Hi all! I am so glad to be a part of the WLS family. It seems everyone here is VERY supportive of each other. I look forward to hearing from others in regards to help with my plateau!!! I have lost 110 pds. so far with 20-25 pds to go. The only thing is, it's not coming off as easy as at first. I had my surgery in Nov. 04 so it's still early. Can anyone tell me any tips on jump starting my weight loss again? Thanks bunches!! Karry

Karry, Congrats on your loss so far. That is awesome work! I'm still realitively new, but from what I've read, perhaps adjusting what you eat helps (variety), increasing fluids, making sure carbs aren't too high, and increasing or changing exercise. I have read some plateau busters in here too, but I don't have them saved. I"m sure others can post them for you. My weight loss has been slow from the beginning. I've been told that the body needs time to adjust to the changes we make in our body and that may be what is happening to you. Good luck, Sorry I"m not much help, but I'm rooting for you!! Terri

Welcome Karry :wave; Congrast all that huge weight lost! that is great news. I can't give any tips because I'm only 8 weeks post op. But I did hit a plateau on my second week. Just ride out the wave. It will past and then you'll be droping again. Nice to meet you Maria
