Primary Care Physician

Ok, I live in nassau county on LI, anyone know of any good PCPs?? My PCP is a boob, I haven't discussed WLS with him nor do I want to. I want a male PCP that I can talk to and that I can trust. Anyone got any suggestions?? Thanks, Enzo Ps. Not sexist just feel more comfortable with a male doctor.

I live in Queens, but use Dr. Ronald D'Agostino in Manhasset. His phone number is: 516-627-2121. There are 3 other Drs. in the group, Gomez, Bernstein and Cohen. They are all good. They are also cardiologists who saved both my mother and husband. I have worked with them as they did rounds on my parents when they have beem hospitalized. Yup, I forced my parents and father in law to switch to this group. D'Agostino is supportive of WLS, but refers to the group at North Shore. Give him a shot, and if you end up needing a reference for a great WLS, read my profile. You won't be disappointed. Good luck!!!

Hey Enzo, I live in Lindenhurst and My PCP was a boob too so I switched and went to one closer to my house... His name is Ronald Baratta... I explained my situation to him and he was all for it... his staff is nice too.... His # is 631-957-2200 and he's in lindenhurst... right off of Sunrise hwy.... Good luck Gia

Enzo, I have a wonderful PCP - in Glen Cove. His name is Dr. Aridito 516-674-6666. He has been a wonderful help all through my WLS process. I only started seeing him a few months before I finally decided this is what I wanted to do. Best of luck, Mary
