Two days to go!

How did this get here this fast? Today is my 9th day of liquid diet and I'm real tired of that, but OK otherwise. I go into the hospital at 6:30 am on Monday!!! Of course, the hospital is 1 and 1/2 hours away, so I have to decide whether to leave in the middle of the night or go to a motel on Sunday night. Anyone have an opinion on which would be best? I'm more nervous than I thought I would be. Going to try to keep busy. ~Cheryl~

i was 2hrs away from my hospital and i stayed home and went in morning i thought i would sleep better at home in my own bed but sent my kids to family too stay the night, good luck kellydon,t worry be happy !!!!!!!

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing about sleeping in my own bed. I don't know how much sleep I'll get anyway. My "kids" are all four footed, so they get to stay home no matter what! Thanks for the input. ~Cheryl~

Cheryl, Wow it has come quick huh?...well congrats hun and I hope all goes well. Yeah that liquid diet must be eekkkkk...... Well just think in a week or so you can have mushy foods.... hey it might be better then the liquid huh..... Hun if you would like to chat just call me, it might help some.. I am 1 1/2 hrs away from the hospital to and I think I will stay home the night before, even though we have to drive all that way at least I can sleep in my own bed and I bet I will not get that much sleep anyways, so what if I have to leave ealier. Then again I might just stay at my Mom's house but that is a little closer, about 45 min away, out on Long Island. So you know what, I guess I am no help here..... Talk to you soon hun..... Debra P

Thanks Deb. I'm leaning towards staying home. I keep thinking about mushy foods and look forward to being on the other side of this surgery. ~Cheryl~
