Anyone in Syracuse or wk for Lockheed?

Hi everyone, My husband is considering a job with Lockheed in Syracuse and I was interested if anyone has any info on either. We are from sunny CA and I am very apprensive about a move to somewhere cold and far away from family. We are coming to visit and interview at the beginning of April. It's not so bad here. We definitely have four seasons, with winter being the longest. The Syracuse area is a nice place to live. Baldwinsville, Dewitt, Fayettville, and Manlius are beautiful places to live just outside of the city. I live north of Syracuse and we get quite a bit more snow than the city, and if you can get through January and February you can pretty much get through it all. It would be quite a shock to move from sunny (although this past winter you guys weren't too sunny) CA, to Central NY and our cooler and sometimes very cold weather, but I'll tell you one thing. You can't beat Central NY in the Summer and Fall. Even Spring can be absolutely beautiful. Email me and when you come to visit, let me know. Maybe we can meet for lunch or dinner while you are here. I live north of Syracuse also. And yes, the winter here seems like the longest season! I'm ready for Spring! My husband's family has a friend that works at Lockheed. I'd be happy to get any info I can from him if you'd like.
