Good morning, I spoke with Dawn last night and great news. She was doing very good when I talked to her. The surgery went great, and she had already been up walking once. Her pain control was going well. Her only complaint was that she was very thirsty and of course feeling really tired. I am going to visit her today. I'll update everyone when I get back. I'll also let her know you were asking. Debra

Great news. I saw Dawn today and she looks great. When I got to the hospital at noon she was eating some jello and sipping some juice/water mixture. She sends her best to everyone on the board, and appreciates all the good wishes. I made a mistake when I entered Dr. Simon on her board...it was Dr. Weiss that did her surgery, and it went great. When I left at 2:30 they put the order in to remove her IV. So hopefully she will be able to go home tomorrow. Again she sends her best to everyone! Debra
