NY External Appeal?Anyone been through it??????????????????????

Has anyone had to go through an external appeal with ny or any other state that offers it. Did you get your case overturned and what insurance did you have. Also what did u have to go through.

If your plan is NOT self-funded, you should do well as long as you fulfill your insurer's other requirements for bariatric surgery. But I suggest you at least speak with Gary Viscio at obesitylawyers.com ... He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and should you need to retain his services, very reasonably priced.

I did talk to Gary and he is helping me all the way and I do have a self insured with Aetna Which I pay for but it still O.K.
