Im Back

Hello all! First of all I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers that have carried me through is last week and a half! I have checked my email and there is a lot! You are all awesome! Such a wonderful support system! I am 12 days post-op and feel pretty good! I went today for a visit to be bumped up from clear liquids to full liquids! I am really excited about that!!! I have really been craving thick soups, so for lunch I had blended clam chowder....YUM! I stepped on the scale and have lost 19lbs. I am not sure if that is the norm or not, but I am really going to try to not compare. I am still a little uncomfortable, it kinda feels like I have a ball or something firm stuck in my sternem, its not painfull, just uncomfortable. I would like to have a bit more energy, but I am sure that will come in time. As always you are all in my thoughts and prayers! Tara

Hi Tara, I'm so happy for you.... congratulations!! I have a question... I have GHI Flex Select and was wondering if they were picky about a nutritionist,.... I've spoken to someone from this board and the poor woman had to go wait and do 6 months of counsil with one.... i am hoping that doesnt happen in my case, but i have a feeling it will... can you let me know if you had any problems with GHI? Hey Gia My experience with GHI was wonderful! All I did was request information from my PCP that I have tried different diets and programs. He had information dating back to 2001 or 2002. He sent a letter of support with the info to Dr Cole. Dr Coles office took all paperwork gathered and submitted to the insurance company. GHI received the paperwork on a Friday and I was approved with 3 bussiness day. I actually got a call Wednesday from Dr Coles officer and the insurance office saying that I was approved. Tara, I"m so glad things have worked out so well for you. The weight loss is great. You double'd mine for the same time frame. I think I am considered a very very very very slow loser. Take care and keep us posted. Terri
