Hello AMOS Family

I just wanted to wish you all a happy Wednesday.....or some might call it hump day..... I would love to hear from all of you to hear how eveyone is doing today and at what stage they are at. I am just waiting for my last weight in on April 11th and to the surgeon on April 14th (final visit). Then the waiting begins with the Ins Comp and a surgery date...... so excited and nervous at the same time.... Well I hope to read more later...... Debra P

Hello again Debra I'm feeling better. Well I was feeling better. I had some pains yesturday. But nothing bad. I'm going to the GI doctor next tuesday. SO I'll find out what's really going on in the grape tummy. Talk to you soon Maria

hey Deb, I was in the same situation as you last wed..had to weigh in lost 15lbs had my final visit of three with doctor they sent my info to insurance thurs..fri i called got approval sent the letter to the surgeon office and now waiting on a date..yours will go as smooth as mines did too. Tracey, Wow you lost 15 lbs, in the whole 5 months I have only lost 8 lbs.... I really should not be laughing but well if I could lose it I would not be having the surgery.......... Thanks for your kind words hun and I hope it goes as well too, this waiting now is a killer..... but I guess it will be worse once I meet with my surgeon for the last and final time on the 14th and I have to wait for the Ins Approval and date...... Good Morning there Deb It is a gloomy day today but I just keep in mind that the spring is here and this is the end of the bad wheather..... Well I am 7 weeks post-op I have lost 70 lbs.....hurray! I haven't lost any weight for the last 2 weeks but I am ok with that cause I know I am losing alot of inches. I have went from a size 26 to a 20....I still don't see the thinner me but I know I will soon....I have alot of energy now I do get in all my proteins and water.....I get on the tread mill at 5am and walk for 1and a quarter mile and when the sun starts to shine I plan on walking in the evening after work with my two little ones..... So last weight in for you how exciting it is......I can't wait for you to join us on the losing side..... you have a great day Deb Christine

Christine, Yes you are right about the Spring thing though it does not feel that way right now..... It was snowing before but turned to rain and now they are saying we could get about 6-10 inches of snow...... I am soooo done with the snow...... Well hun you are doing so good and that is good to hear you can get all your protein and water in..... and the weight loss is awesome too.... I so miss my treadmill, we lost it in the fire and it is very expensive to replace......I found someone that was selling hers localy but by the time I got back to her it was gone..... well I will have to work on getting a new one soon.....MUST! Hi Deb Happy Wednesday to you too. Not much longer and you will be on the losing side. You have complied with the ins comp criteria so your wait shouldn't be too long. I will send prayers your way. Wasn't your treadmill covered by your insurance? I am still waiting for a decision from Aetna. I guess they have accepted my 3-month program I did in 2003, but have not made a determination on the documentation that was sent to them on 3/21. So in preparation of another 3 months supervised, I saw my doctor on Monday and the nutritionist today. I also am looking into an exercise program, but my PCP has to approve it and list any limitations due to my back and neck problems. Now I have 1 month down and 2 months to go. So, by the end of May I should be able to get right in. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Brenda
