Well I called My doctors office 2day just to ask if my phys fax my evaluation letter over, I was told no, and that I have to be rescheduled, because there is a 15 day turn around, so I am assuming people who have a date from April 1 and on will be rescheduled...My date was April 8th, and I am still hoping to have it on that date because my insurance (Aetna) will be terminated on the 11th of april, and that basically means I will have to start all over again, I took all my test, except for the bloodwork and EkG, that is schedule for this coming friday....I was all prepared for this, So I applied for medicaid went to the interview was told to pick a plan (Affinity) was chosen, I don't know how these guys are with the surgery I read that people had success....do you guys think I will have to take all the test over again including Phys, I know bloodwork will have to be done over regardless.....

Melvina, I am still Pre-op so I really don't know but I would think if you have to change Ins Comp that the testing should still be good for your surgeon to use. I know if you have payed anything towards a deductable that they will not bring that over in most cases. Hun I hope this all works out for you and hang in there...... Keep us posted, we are always here for you...... Take care Debra P

i don't think you would have to take your pre-testing over again unless it is out dated for the time frame which I think is usually a year for your testing..... i wish you luck and I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you for April 8th Christine

That doesn't seem right. I also used Dr. Roslin, and his office is usually able to work miracles with the insurance companies. I know that Catherine can be tough, but have you tried e-mailing Dr. Roslin, himself. I bet if he knows your situation he may be able to help something get done so you don't have to start over again with different insurance. Good luck!!!
