150 pounds out of sight
I am almost one and half years Post-op & would like other Post-Ops to share the continuation of their journey from this point.
I've lost 150 pounds, without any complications. However, I do tend to forget & have overeaten - geesh what a tummy ache - which works at reinforcing my not repeating this for a few weeks. I have manage to eat 1/2 a cookie (because I wanted to) which my doctor said was okay - (I'm not into cookies) my weakness was chips - but I usally can subsitute that for bread sticks 2 at most. I have not tried going back to milk (too much gas) - very explosive if you're at work eh?
Oops sorry
Pasta -
no way spagetti was like being choked - so I never tried again, which is good for an ex-carb addict. I did have a glass of wine - 1 year Post-Op - was okay. My only bad situation now is that I'm severly anemic (not due to GB surgery) - if I bleed out severe again I'm due for a transfusion. This went away right after surgery - now its back (Ugh!). PLEASE SHARE WITH ME. Thank you fellow LOSERS!
