Statewide Prayers Needed...

This isnt about WLS...but need the prayers anyway. In Dec. my best friend of 16 years was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is only 28 and a single mother to three little girls-two of which dont have a father in their lives. They are 11, 8 and 3. From Sun until Fri I was at her bedside in Syracuse hospital and Friday night at 6:57 p.m. she passed away. Please pray for the girls- as torn up as myself and her parents are, the girls have no understanding of why this is happening. The 11 year old doesnt want to leave the house (that they had been staying at since she was hospitalized) and is saying she cant go home till mommy does. Pray for us to have the strength to make it through the funeral and calling hours(tues and weds). Ironically, she never smoked a day in her life!! Thank you all Betty-Jean

hello bettyjean, sorry to hear about your friend i work at a cancer hospital in buffalo and its a hard thing to see and deal with. maybe check and see if that hospital has support groups or a social work dept. that can help you, the kids and the rest of the family. julie k
