Liquid Hell

Help I'm in liquid hell I am in day 5 of my 13 day liquid fast before surgery and I am starving! I am drinking everything the surgeon said I can but it's not helping. Anyone else been in liquid hell? thanks-KB

Hi Kerry, I was on a full liquid diet from the last part of July until the middle of November. It was not easy at all. Knowing why the doctor wanted me to be on it helped a bit. (we were hoping to prevent another partial bowel obstruction.) I did find that it helped me to be able to cook for my family and then I would go into a different room they ate. It also helped that they were very supportive. Just try to take it one day at a time. Best wishes, You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Burt
