Last Night Hubby and I went to the Mall just to get out of the house and just have a fun evening. I took the Mall gift card that my daughter gave me for my birthday so I could hopefully buy something to wear this summer. Well I thought this was going to be an easy task--but--it wasn't! This was the first time I actually went shopping for something other than "fat" clothes and actually found myself looking at styles I would have picked out when I was size 26/28. I knew I did not want to buy the same type of styles and had a hard time locating the "smaller" styles. This story does have a happy ending because I did find a cute "mini" skort outfit in size 14/16. I tried it on when I got home and my hubby LOVED it! I felt like a college girl again! Now I just have to wait until the warmer weather to wear it. Imagine--me in a Mini Skort with a ruffle on the bottom!!!! Yipeeeeeeee! Hugs Marianne

Hi Congradulations on your new fit!! Isn't it wonderful? May you continue to be a big loser, lol I Live on LI too,Farmingdale. My surgery was done by Dr Garber in New Hyde Park. MY WLS was 1/17/05 and so far I think I have lost about 40 some odd pounds, I refuse to become a slave to the scale, as long as I keep getting smaller I am a happy camper. All my size 18-20 clothes are beginning to fall off me. So I too went shopping last night at Kohls in Massapequa. Now, I must tell you I hate to clothes shop. So I got in and got out ASAP. But I will tell you I did manage to get into a Misses size 16! It felt so good to get back into that size again. But it killed me to spend money on clothes that I know I am just going to shrink out of, lol. Wow, now there's a twist! Never thought that would happen again. Keep up the good work Hugs Chris
