anyone have trouble...

Has anyone had trouble with chronic constipation after surgery? If so...what is good to take? Thanks, Roxanne

Hello Roxanne~~~ Chronic constipation can be a painful problem after WLS!! I would just call your dr office and see what he wants you to take. Don't wait too long, because it only gets worse. You could start with upping your water intake. Post and let us know what he said and how your feeling!

Hi Roxanne, I'm just about 2 weeks post op. And one of my friends warned me that the pain killers can cause constipation, so I only took what I really needed. I don't know that that will be much help right now, but it might explain where it's coming from. Best of luck and enjoy the losing side! Doralee
