Congratulations on being a loser!! Who would have ever thought that being called a loser would make us happy!
Just take one day at a time! It's very challenging in the beginning, but I promise you, it will get easier. I see your going to be a New Grandma!! I have a Grandson, he's 1 1/2 and it's so much fun. I am so grateful that I had WLS, because I am able to get down on the floor and play with him, run all around, and never get tired. I really do have sooo much more energy now! Wishing you all the best and may all your dreams come true!!

How are you feeling?
I feel fine overall but find that I short of breath easy...just since surgery. Had cat scan done and everything seems to be ok.
I am not doing so hot on weight loss and dont know why
I have only lost 11# in first week, and none in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I have stuck by the book, doc took me off shakes and am only on 3 meals a day at 1/2 cup per meal. Doesnt add up!
I have been VERY discouraged, but I've come this far, so I will trudge on.
Hope the scales realize I want them to move soon, it will be easier on both me and them!
What kind of diet are you doing now and with what success?

hey roxanne!! well i had my sy appointment 10 days out ,i had lost 27lbs...but iam also starting off at 344lbs. and then i was weighing my self like 6 times a day!!!! driving myself nuts. but what i did was i actually put a note on my scale so i dont go on it for one week! lol...and im not going back on it till tuesday. and i have also heard ALOT that we might slow down in the 1st month while our bodies adjust. then were in for a lose. hopw this is true for both of us!!!! i am suppose to be getting 800 calories a day in. i am running between 500-700 but yest, only had i think 460 but i had 88 oz. of water. my water intake \has been 64. oz i try to get that much in a day after that i will drink tea or something. like now i woke up and i should be trying to eat but i just doent feel like(never thought i would be saying that...lol) anyways feel free to email me as well [email protected]
