I.U.D. BIRTH CONTROL..

HI GUYS, I was wondering if anyone had surgery and had a I.U.D. in.. I haven't heard of anying problems but i was concerns because i heard birthcontroll pills causes bloodclots so i was wondering what you guys think about I.U.D'S. I have one in now and i am in the process of having surgery. Tracey,

Tracey- I had surgery 11/15/04, and had/have an IUD in. The doctors knew, hospital knew, it was never even a concern for anyone. Mention it to your doc or the hospital staff. I know I had to because they asked about potential pregnancy and what I was using for birth control. Good luck!!!! Janet

Exactly like Tracey, I was sure to tell my surgeon (make sure you tell yours) but they were essentially unconcerned. Absolutely the best form of birth control when you are in a committed, faithful relationshp. My TOMs are kind of harsh but it's worth it!
