Dear Lorraine~~ I am so sorry to hear that you loss your Mom. My prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time in your life. You are right when you said life is to short to be angry and looking for who is at fault---because nobody was a fault. God just needed another special angel and he chose your Mom. I know that only you can make a decision to have the surgery. But you said that ""I am so confussed"" and that is so understandable right now. Just leave that date open for now. I am so sure that your Mother would want you to have a better and happier life. It is your time now and to start over again would be so hard. Please give yourself this special gift.
