Good Morning my NY AMOS family!! It is a glorious Sunday and I wanted to share my enthusiasm. I am just happy that I am alive to see such a sunny day! How is everyone doing, pre-op and post-op? OH WELL SUNDAYS THE DAY OF REST ,TO BAD I RESTED THROUGH CHURCH OH WELL MAYBE NEXTS WEEKMY HUSBAND AND I PLAYED CARDS LAST NIGHT (EUCHER) AND TODAY I,M ENTERTAINING THE KIDS AND ALL THERE FREINDS WHO SPENT THE NIGHT ,AND TONIGHT WE GO BOWLING WHAT A BUSY WEEKEND LOL ,I,M A STAY HOME MOM I,M 4YR OUT 364/221/210 STILL FIGHTING TO GET TO GOAL WISH ME LUCK . Good Afternoon JP, I was cleaning but I started messing around on the PC and some how my picture is finally posted. I was trying to copy and paste to my profile and low and behold it was there. Good Afternoon to All !! I would love to hear from anyone.....sound desperate huh....lol....I am having my first consult with Dr. Miguel Silva this coming Thursday...Yikes..I am so nervous, excited, and overly anxious after reading the memorial page this morning at 2:00 a.m. before going to ....DUH! Although I am totally frightened...I feel like I will be ok!!! Any input? Cathy

Hi Cathy, How's things in Da Bronx? I had my surgery there at Jacobi Hospital almost 2 months ago. Its been a great experience so far...the weight loss is amazing, and I have tons of hope for a long healthy life! It's normal to feel anxious and frightened about weight loss surgery. Its a big step. I think its the best thing I've ever done though. Good luck with the consult. Go Yankees! Pete

Hey Jolanda I know how you feel! My mood since my surgery (12/15/04) has been really enthusiastic for the most part! Its like a new found hope for better times to come. As far as enjoying the day...I'll just be hanging around the house and going for my daily walk on my treadmill later. Definately looking foward to spring though....especially Yankee baseball! Pete

Heyyyyy Pete! It sounds like you are doing GREAT as a post-op... we are all such a group of LOSERS . You know, we will have to get together when the Mets play the Yanks, just so the Mets can wipe the plate with them. Good luck with your continued weight loss and keep me posted with your success! Jolanda! Get to your doctor QUICKLY! It seems the sudden weight loss has left you delusional! You seem disoriented and confused! Mets wiping the plate with the Yankees?...this may be serious. Good luck with a speedy recovery. When you feel better, I'd love to get together with you and watch the Yankees embarrass the "new" Mets. Pete
