Cheating weekend

Hello AMOS family I am embarrassed to say that I have spent all weekend cheating on my diet. Cheating to the point that I would eat too much and then throw up. I would eat things like corn chips, doritos, pickles, and even a tiny bite of fried chicken. I can't believe that I did this... How do I stop this after I spent 2 months trying to structure a diet that works for me and I continually lose weight, I am scared that I may have damaged my pouch by doing something so crazy!! I have devoted so much to losing 59 pounds and I don't want to gain it back. Has anyone else done this? If so, how did you revert back to your diet? Jalonda GO EAGLES

Hi Jalonda I just went thru the same thing you are going thru and I think its a normal thing really... I had chinese food and .... I knew I shouldn't have eaten it but I just had to have it... I was also snacking in between meals with with my doc is an absolute ... To rectify this, I posted on the message board and got some excellent suggestions which I have adopted into my life... I know what you mean about being scared and gaining weight... I am too scared but I refuse to let that happen... After all the encouragement I received from the AMOS family I woke up the next day and made up my mind that enough was enough and I was going to eat right.... And I have done so since.... Please don't be hard on yourself as you will have times of temptation and there will be times you'll eat the wrong foods... But it's a part of the learning process and you've just gotta make up your mind that those chips, etc are not worth it... I doubt you damaged anything so try not to worry... Tomorrow is a new day hon!!! God Bless! Chelle In NNY

My Darlin Chelle!! YOU LOOK FABULOUSLY AWESOME BABE! Keep up the good work! Thank you for your support, I think what I needed was to know that I am but a human and we all make mistakes. This new life is all about baby steps and sometimes set backs. But I am back on track and filling my body with my vitamins and protein. Thanks for the love, Jalonda

Hello Jalonda~~~ Today is a brand new day!! Below is the link to Chelle post---lots of great info--take a look! In the beginning we have to work that tool! And it's not easy. The first year is an important one to obtain our goals. It's called the Honeymoon Stage. But, as time goes on, our new lifestyle of eating will get easier. Hang in there!!!! Please post again and let everyone know how your doing!! http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/state-forums/NY/postdetail/24157.html?vc=0

dont sweat it just use the tool you were given dont beat yourself up just say to yourself "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING THIN FEELS..... thats what i do.... i never deny myself anything just if i know its bad for me i only taste then im satisfied or at least i tell myself that.... this is just a tool the doctor has given us its not a fool proof way to lose weight unless you follow the rules unfortunetly if we followed the rules we would have never needed surgery in the first place.... my message is dont beat yourself up and get back to doing what you were doing and you will be fine.......
