What memorial page are you talking about ?

Hi Pam Your reaction is very "Normal"....I think that before surgery WE ALL visited the memorial page.....and felt the same as you do now! Try not to think morbid thoughts of death but rather wonderful thoughts of rebirth. What I used to do pre-op when I was feeling scared, was to go to the picture gallery and check out everyone's before and after pictures. These pictures certainly do wonders to lifting your spirits and looking forward to the day when you get a second chance at life! I hope I have helped some, and just remember we are here for you and there are more of us here on the journey to a new life than those written about in the memorials. Another thing to remember is those wonderful people who have passed may have had more life threatning medical conditions that may have resulted in their death than anything resulting from WLS.
