It has been 4 month, I finally got my surgery date Feb. 7th, I am very excited, Now that the challenge of passing all the requirements and being approved by my insurance company I can sit back and wonder with excitement. What will it feel like, how much discomfort will I have after and for how long? Will my body accept the changes gracefully? Or will it be rude and give me a hard time. How will I know what is 2 oz. when my eyes want to see 16 oz? How long will it take for my fantasy body really mine of course with hard work. I read the message board many times they gave me strenght and hope. I hope I will be able to post positive messages in a few days...For now thanks for sharing..

Thank you everyone for your strong support. I am doing very well. 13days since my surgury and I feel a little discomfort, and I am proud to say a looser already of 15 lbs. I have taken to the program nicely. So far I am sure as time goes on I may miss certain foods but thats ok. I am looking better already and my joints are not as stiff. Not a bad trade off. your looser friend Diane
