WISH ME LUCK

Okay every one I have a date . I did all my pro -op exam and now just counting down. My RNY-OPen is sett for TESDAY Feb 8 @ 9M pls wish me luck and pls forward any information that can help get through the first couple of days

Good Luck Pamela!! May your surgery be uneventful and your recovery speedy. I will say prayer for you on your fantastic day. I am not scheduled until 2/16 so I cannot give you any information firsthand, but I know I plan to take this wonderful journey one day at a time. I think that is all we can do along with listening to our doctors. Also, know that everyone on this board will be praying for you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Brenda

Hi Pamela! Thats great news!! Lotsa dates happenin' on the NY board now... Wooo hooooo!! I wish you much luck, love and prayers on your journey! The first couple of days can be rough but just keep in mind (no matter what) that it only gets better and soon you'll bounce back... Also be sure to bring a pillow along for the ride home from the hospital (those bumps can be horrible on the tender tummy)... Ummmm thats all I can think of right now! My biggest problem was being comfy after surgery but I managed to get thru it and you will do great too!! God Bless! Chelle
