Psychological evaluation in Staten Island

The Dr office called today and said that my Psychological evaluation was no good because the guy i went to was a social worker not a Dr., but when I called him a Dr he didnt say I am not a dr. Throughout the whole evaluation I was calling him Dr and he didnt stop me. He was who I was covered by my insurance company to go to. I will pay someone but I dont know who. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Stephanie, I am sorry this happened to you AFTER you had your eval. I am not sure why your doctor wont accept a Social Worker eval - that is what I had, and if that is who your insurance company says is fine, I dont see why the surgeon should have a problem with it. Unfortunately I dont write the policies at your surgeons office. Unfortunately also is that I dont have any suggestions. I just wanted to say I am sorry this happened - it stinks!!
