LONG ISLAND Doc reviews

Hi All, I'm trying to get some references for docs on LI (Nassau and Suffolk). I think having a post specifically for LI docs might be a good idea. If you've gone to an LI doc, please post your experiences here...good and bad. Thanks so much! Laura PS - thank you to all who have posted before and after pics...they are so inspiring!

Please consider a trip into Manhattan to see Dr. Roslin or Dr. Kurian at Lenox Hill. They are second to none. I had my rny (lap) with them 2 years ago and could not be happier. Their website is: www.nomoreobesity.com. Good luck!!

I used Dr. Garber in May for a Lap RNY, and I'm down 123 lbs. He is well regarded, very competent, and in New Hyde Park. His office is quite busy though, you'll see complaints about the wait as a common theme. But his skills are proven, he's been doing the surgery for years. Most important - pick whoever you feel comfortable with, you'll be seeing a lot of them! Regards, Mel
