New here..and questions. :)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask some questions. I am on Medicaid and I know that they cover WLS like GBS and the like, but would plastic surgery as in a tummy tuck or liposuction be considered WLS in the fact that it is in regards to your obesity. I ask because with GBS type surgeries you know that they are permanent and a life change, where plastic surgery seems more "vanity". Is anyone else on Medicaid and have gotten surgery?

HI I,M KELLY I LIVE NEAR YOU OUT SIDE OF BATAVIA NY I KNOW THAT MY MOM WAS ON MEDICAID AND SHE HAD TT SHE JUST HAD TO PROVE THAT IT WAS CAUSEING HER PROBLEMS WITH SORES UNDER THE HANGING SKIN AFTER WLS BUT SHE WAS APPROVED FOR BREAST REDUCTION BUT AFTER THE TT WAS SO PAINFUL SHE DID NOT DO IT BUT THEY WERE GOING TO COVER IT GOOD LUCK KELLY
