Well this morning I get a call from the surgeon's office I thought I was going to have a heart attack, before the call I thought it was the end for me being that I am out of insurance in 10 weeks, I hope he can make it happen, but I am a little happier than I was...I meet with Dr Mitchell Roslin on the 10th of Feb, the Assistant was very clear on what I need to do and bring with me, I even told her I don't have 6 month of dieting yet I only have 4. she said that was fine bring that in and also weight monitoring from my pcp, So I have some hope right now, my fingers are still cross tight . Have anyone did there process with in one month, I am just curious how fast I can get approval and a date

I havent had my surgery yet but my first surgeons appt was last week. And my surgery is scheduled for the 28th of feb. (so 6 weeks) So it is possible, depending on who your surgeon is.

Do not let your insurance lapse no matter how expensive COBRA might be. If there is a lapse between insurance coverages, the new insurance has the right to exclude any pre-existing conditions and you will need future care for WLS. I know how expensive insurance is, but we cannot afford to be without it! Lynne
