Congrats Christine! I know you must be so thrilled! I know exactly what yu mean about being happy for everyone else but wanting to have your own date....been there. Good luck on your surgery and I am so happy your turn is finally coming.

Thank you Joan, You are right you do know how I feel, you had the long wait for your surgeon to be approved by the insurance company, but right after that you got your date and approval,,,,,can't wait to be on the losing side and I will also keep the seat available on the bench in March as you journey to the losing side.... Hey sweetie, I am so thrilled to hear this great news, I was out of the office yesterday and snuck in today for a few minutes to come to this great news to hear that you've been approved. I am thrilled for you and not only did you get the approval, but you have your date.. YES!!!!!! I am sooooo happy, I told you only God know's when it's best. Imagine, you were worried to go to the new doctor and look you are approved.. Ahhh sweetie I am delighted. Hi sweetie Thank you, thank you, thank you,.....could you imagine the shock that I was in, this is all over the technicality of not responding to the appeal and telling me they never recieved it so the surgeons office forward my e-mail along with the conformation that they did recieve my appeal....so they granted it and gave me til 1-31-05 to have the surgery........ So WoOoooooooHoooooooooo and before you know it you will be there too....keeping my finger crossed and anything else I can cross for you.... Christine

Oh my God Christine! I remember when I got that phone call saying I was approved for WLS, I just about passed out from the excitement! Enjoy it, you have waited long enough! We will all be here for you. Make sure you get everything you need before that big day. Thanks for the compliment! That's so sweet. With this job I feel like I have no time for myself and stuff I used to enjoy doing like posting and reading posts. I'm going to make it a point to log on from work during my lunch hour so I can play catch up. I miss you guys!!! My 2 boys are doing great! They loved this blizzard, I really hated it because now we have to make sure the sidewalk is shoveled or we'll get a summons, and my husband works for the city! So we busted our backs clearing a path, what a mess! To think I thought that was fun when I was a kid! What the heck was I thinking? Anyways I'll try and keep up with everyone here. OMG Christine, I know I do not post too much but I am always lurking and I know you deserve this so much. You have stuck it out and have remained encouraging to those who went before you even though you were fighting for yourself at the same time. I cannot wait to scream "Welcome to the Losing Side" on January 31st. I am at work so I cannot do the happy dance either but I am definitely visualizing it in my head and on the screen!!!!!
