Stacy~~Your very welcome. May I make a suggestion--maybe you could take your Mom with you to a support group meeting. This way she could see and hear just what a difference WLS can make for a much healthier life for you and your children. Also, take her to your next drs appt and let your surgeon talk with her. I do hope she comes around and supports you but just remember we are all here for you if you need anything.

Hi Alice, I'd love to bring my Mom to a support group meeting with me. My Mom is ill and really only leaves the house to go to her many doctor appointments. I'd like to have her support, I'd love it actually. If I don't have it that's ok too. I understand where she's coming from. I know she's scared for me and my children. I'm scared for me and my children. I'm leaving it up to God. If everything goes well and my insurance approves then I'll get the surgery done. If something goes wrong and I'm denied then that is that. I'll live with it. Everything happens for a reason. I do have a stong feeling though that I everything will be ok and I'll get approved. I don't want this surgery, b/c I want to look good. I consider that one of the perks of this surgery. I want this surgery, b/c I want to do things with my children. I want to be here when they have children of their own. I'm healthy right now, who's to say I'll be that way 15-20 years from now. Having this surgery isn't just about me. I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say. I appreciate your support, thank you. Stacy

I do know what your trying to say and why you want to have WLS. Having this surgery, effects everyone in your life, not only you. I will keep you in my prayers as you wait until you hear the greatest words in the world---I'm Approved.
