TESTING???where on the body!!!?

i read somthing and i am hopping that im reading it worng.....before the surgery...do we have to have rectal exams???????/pleases say no!!!!!!!!1 kate

Katie- Not sure who your doc is. Mine is Dr. Boss at highland in Rochester, NY. Anyways I never had to have a rectal exam prior to surgery, nor after for that matter. If there were preexisting conditions that would warrant that practice then maybe but definately NOT in my case!!! Hope that helps to alleviate some concerns. Janet
