support group in Syracuse area

Looking for support groups in the immediate syracuse area. Have trouble getting to support groups through the bariatric center due to the days/tiimes they meet.

Hi Sheila, there is a support group that meets the 1st Tuseday of every month @ 6:30pm, Hazard Branch Library 1648 W. Genesee St., Syracuse NY 13204. Usually we have 15-30 pre & post-op patients, all are welcome to attend.

There is a support group meeting the next 2 thursdays right next to the doctors office -at the church, they run from 7-8:30. Starting next month they will change to every other Thursday from 7-8:30. There are ones on every other Friday morning starting in February from 10-11:30. February3rd 7-8:30 pm February4th 10-11:30am February17th 7-8:30pm February18th10-11:30am But like I said we also have a support group meeting the 20th and the 27th of January from 7-8:30pm. The people there are great. It is like a whole new family. Please come and join us. We have pre-ops and post-ops. So you get to here both sides of the story. There is weight loss support group hosted by Joann Haskins at the public libary by porter elementary.Usually held the first tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm.
