Had my consultation today!!!

I was so excited to go to my consultation appt at Dr.Coles office. He is going to do the surgery on me! How awesome is that? Very! LOL> I am going for my intake appt on January 26th from 8-12. Its a 4 hour affair. I have to see a dietician, case manager, and social worker. They will give Dr. Cole their reports, and then I will schedule an appt with him to talk about things and then get my date! I hope this all happens soon! I would love to hear any feed back from Dr. Coles or Mckanes patients! Or from anyone! Thanks so much for reading! Bye!

Hi Stephanie Congratulations on your decision to have wls. I am a patient of Dr. McKane's, but Dr. Cole did an endoscopy on me in December to see if my ulcer was healed. Thank God, it was gone!!! You will love everyone in their office. All of the staff are wonderful. Wait until you meet them all!!! I have already done consultation, intake, and physical. Then, the endoscopy. I now need medical clearance from my PCP whom my husband told that I snore, so now I have to have a sleep study done to make sure I don't have sleep apnea. The tests for the study are scheduled for Monday and I see the pulmonary doctor on Tuesday. If all goes well, I will get my medical clearance. Then, I guess I meet with Dr. McKane again to set up the surgery date and he will send a courtesy letter to the insurance company. I am hoping for a date around the end of this month!!!!! (my birthday is Jan. 27th, what a present wls would be). If you have any other questions, feel free to e-mail me. Of course, you can always post your questions here on the board. Good Luck getting in sooner for intake. Maybe someone will cancel. That is how I got in sooner.
