Question about my PCP before I go...

My PCP is not the one who is on my insurance card. But, she is the only doctor I have seen for the past 1 1/2 years. so, she knows me. Do I have to get a referral from the PCP on the card, or can it just be the one who I have on record that I have seen every time I go to the doc's? I have Medicaid, by the way. I don't know if that makes any difference.

If your pcp is in the same practice as the one on your card you should have no problems what so ever. If not I would call and get it changed just to aviod any possible complications later on. Hope I was some help. Darlene
